1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Sea Meets Mountain Expedition ("we", "our", "us"), a travel agency based in Chikkabidirakallu, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By enquiring, booking, or purchasing any travel package or service from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed advance deposit and written confirmation from Sea Meets Mountain Expedition via email or WhatsApp. Verbal confirmations or discussions do not constitute a binding booking.

• An advance deposit (amount specified per package) is required to secure your booking.
• Full payment must be completed as per the payment schedule communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
• Prices quoted are valid at the time of enquiry and may be subject to change until a booking is confirmed.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. The following cancellation schedule applies unless otherwise specified in writing:

• 30+ days before departure: Cancellation charge of up to 25% of total package cost.
• 15–29 days before departure: Cancellation charge of up to 50% of total package cost.
• 7–14 days before departure: Cancellation charge of up to 75% of total package cost.
• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund. Full package cost is forfeited.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 working days.

4. Changes and Amendments

If you wish to amend your itinerary after confirmation, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, subject to availability. Amendment fees may apply depending on the nature of the change and the policies of third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, etc.).

5. Travel Documents and Responsibilities

It is the sole responsibility of the traveller to ensure that all required travel documents are valid and in order, including:

• Valid passport (with at least 6 months validity beyond travel dates)
• Applicable visas for all destination and transit countries
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended for all trips)
• Any health certificates or vaccination requirements

Sea Meets Mountain Expedition will provide guidance and assistance where possible, but accepts no liability for denied entry, visa rejection, or any costs arising from incomplete documentation.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure. This should include coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and personal liability. Sea Meets Mountain Expedition is not responsible for losses or expenses that would have been covered by travel insurance.

7. Our Liability

Sea Meets Mountain Expedition acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport operators, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or additional expense arising from:

• Acts of God, natural disasters, or force majeure events
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers
• Government actions, civil unrest, or travel advisories
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
• Medical emergencies or health conditions during travel

8. Price Inclusions and Exclusions

Each package quotation will clearly state what is included and excluded. Unless specifically mentioned in writing, the following are generally excluded: international/domestic airfares, visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips and gratuities, meals not specified in the itinerary, and any optional activities.

9. Complaints

If you experience any issue during your trip, please contact us immediately via phone or WhatsApp so we can attempt to resolve it promptly. Complaints raised only after return, without prior notification during travel, may limit our ability to resolve them or offer remedies.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
